I'm Carl Cox
Clay brings me calm…
In every form, I try to shape a bit of that stillness—drawn slowly from the earth, with care and heart.
I’m Carl Cox, a ceramic artist in Lewes, Delaware. My work is rooted in presence, intention, and the quiet stories that handmade objects can hold. I’m drawn to organic shapes, earthy tones, and forms that carry meaning—whether they mark a milestone, honor a memory, or simply offer a moment of peace.
I teach at Mispillion Art League and offer private lessons in my home studio, sharing not just technique, but a way of connecting—through clay, through time, through process.
Looking for something more personal?
I welcome custom commissions—pieces made to celebrate life’s meaningful moments: new beginnings, shared vows, spiritual rituals, healing journeys, and lasting love. The kind of pieces that live on as heirlooms and help shape family tradition.
